Project Manager

Joined Roland Berger in 2007.

What did you do before you joined Roland Berger?

I moved to Roland Berger from another consulting firm that specialized in restructuring. I thus brought experience from exactly such projects for a variety of industries including FMCG, retail, steel, energy and construction materials. I also did M&A-related projects, such as due diligence and post-merger integration.

What do you like best in working as a consultant?

In my consulting career I like the project character of the work - such as diversification of tasks and industries as well as the project life cycle, that does not allow for routine to take over and gives a lot of satisfaction after the completion of each project.
The chance to visit interesting plants is a very big attraction also. A steelwork, port, press distribution center, bank, factory producing windows, cables, pasta, ceramic ware, pizza or other food products have enormous "touristic" potential, comparing to any old town, church or castle.

How would you describe the athmosphere in the RB Team?

The atmosphere is unusually good in my view, thanks to two factors. First, a large number of consultants is divided into so called competence centers that accelerate integration of new colleagues. Second, we have a policy of staffing projects with representatives of different centers so eventually everyone has a chance to get to know the whole firm.
