Working in strategic consulting is full of challenges, and Roland Berger consultants have to face up to them.
Even though we describe key characteristics of a consultant below, we know that there is no one ideal candidate profile and we want to ensure variety within our team. In addition, the higher position in the company, the more important the relevant experience is.
Key skills:
- analytical skills, meaning ability to analyze a situation and draw proper conclusions,
- numerical skills,
- ability to focus on key information in a multitude of data,
- team spirit,
- international environment flexibility,
- understanding the rules of communication with people of different age and on different positions.
Important knowledge:
- higher education, economic or related,
- familiarity with the economic situation in Poland and in the world,
- understanding of corporate management rules,
- specialization in a selected field of corporate management,
- fluency in English, knowledge of other foreign languages would be an additional asset.
Wanted traits:
- resolve in acting and defending opinions,
- resistance to stress under a deadline pressure,
- positive attitude, seeing challenges not problems,
- healthy self-confidence,
- independence,
- responsibility,
- leadership potential (especially when acting as a part of the client's team).
Experience:
- when applying for junior positions: foreign internships according to our profile, activity in non-governmental organizations,
- when applying for senior positions: exceptional achievements in professional career, experience according to our profile.
