Opening of Roland Berger Reading Room in Cracow
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants supported a project of modernization and development of the library and International Cultural Center in Cracow. On May 13th 2009 a ceremony of the library and Roland Berger Reading Room opening in Cracow was held. That shows our commitment to culture and science development. The reading room is equipped with multimedia hardware which helps to access extensive database of art history, architecture and humanities. It offer 12 multimedia computer stands with an access to electronic catalogues, text and bibliographic databases. Together with Goethe-Institut we have created a "Counterparts" program, in which we support art and education growth and promote European culture achievements. In celebration of Reading room opening participated: Tomasz Merta – Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Thomas Glaser – General Consul of Germany, Krzysztof Badowski – Managing Partner in Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Roland Goll – Director of Goethe-Institut in Cracow and prof. Jacek Purchla – Director of International Cultural Center.
